Well Worth The Money

Saw a binge of JAG on Decades several weeks ago and decided I would like to see it again. No network or streaming was handling it so I bought the First Season, Good Quality DIsc's, and brought back the reasons I liked JAG. Thinking about buying Season Two soon.Lire l'avis complet...

The first and the most different

JAG- Judge Advocate General, is about the Legal branch of the Armed forces.
(Military lawyers.) Sounds like it might be just another lawyers show, but not the case at all. Particularly this- the first year of the 10 year series. (1995-2005)
The first year of the show focused on the 'investigative' aspect of JAG, which is to say it was more like a Tom Clancy novel than let's say Boston Legal. Lots of action and virtually no court rooms (This changed some in the following years.)
Another change- Tracy Needham one of the stars in this first season, did not make it into season two.... Although I enjoyed her contributions, I suspect she was found a bit too doe-eyed, and compliant to her male counterpart- the excellent David James Elliot. Besides losing Tracy, and being switched from NBC- CBS) the following years featured a large ensemble cast, which gives the show a different feel.Lire l'avis complet...

Fantasticly awesome show, must have for any Crime solving collection

Awesome TV show, basically the military to NCIS' civilian investigations. The first couple of episodes seem to drag on a bit but after that the show is real easy to get into.
Harman Rab Jr, is a fantastic protagonist with just enough of the rebel to really grow attached to the man.
The military protocol is spot on, which for anyone that has/does serve its a big deal and we like to see it gotten right.Lire l'avis complet...

Just like NCIS - one of the best TV programs put on..Great entertainment

Jags First Season, great if you love Jag. Great Sellers

I love watching Jag, I have it on record on my TV, but I've been losing some. I like to go back and watch some of my favorite episodes, having the DVD's will make that easy now. If you like Jag and missed the first or second seasons, buy the DVD's and you can start from the beginning. Sellers were great, they've found all but seasons 3,5,&8 for me. Good Show, good writers.

Jag had it all, good writers, actors and story line, it should have lasted longer.

Great Deal on Ebay - Like New

JAG was a great show and I got the frist & second seasons from the same
person. He said it had been viewed one time and was like new. It was
and I saved a lot of money on ebay. The stories were very good as you
would think coming from NBC (First Season - NBC dropped the show) and the
second season was aired on CBS. The second season has less shows as it
started airing late that year. The stores still wanted full price but
you can make a good deal on ebay. Even got combined postage and saved
a little more. So far all the DVDs from Ebay have been like new.Lire l'avis complet...

bought as a Christmas gift so have to wait and see

This is a good tv show so should be great
