Man I have struggled to find a decent working multi hub like this one that actually WORKS. This one does. I even plugged in 3 usb devices at once and no power loss or glitches. Good product with a couple flaws
Bought 2 and they both work fine. Tested the ports i have plans on using. My issues are minor but still valid.
1. Needs a longer cord. With only having my USB 3.0 in the rear of the computer. The hub is nearly useless because of the short cable.
2. Use a standard USB 3.0 cable. Instead of the short built in cable, use a standard USB 3.0 to micro B) cable. If we need to use a longer one, then we can buy a longer cable and switch it out.
Otherwise, the hub works. I've only had it a week so ushers are any issues that come up, I'll adjust my review accordingly. Lire l'avis complet...

Works for me!
This is a great little gadget that basically allows for several types of media to be used with a USB input. I my case the car only had one input port for media and charging phone. I used this to enable 3 usb ports and I also have access to any other type of media I can plug in as a USB, SD, Micro SD etc. The device while it claims to be Aluminum, is all plastic except for the front cove that is aluminum. Not a show stopper it does what I need it to do. A little velcro on the back and now I have 3 usb instead on a single usb port. Works well with computer or auto. Wish the cable was a little longer but I purchased a cable extender and it works just fine. Gave four stars because I expected aluminum not plastic.Lire l'avis complet...

A great product for price, but there are noises
This is a good product that I would recommend to anyone that needs USB extending for any purpose. When using this with my laptop with my gaming mouse and keyboard connected, it makes a high pitched noise. When moving the mouse it makes the sound and with the keyboard, it’s constant. Good box to go from 1 to 3 USB ports at a reasonable price.
The box seems to work as advertized. there is an unnamed opening on one side. I suspect that this could be for a jack to add more 5 V power. If so that would be good to know. Also, the drawings for the cards to be inserted are wrong. I had to put my micro SD card in with the pins up and notch to the left. I thought the box was broken until I figured that out. Good small Hub
Bought 2 of these hubs for my development systems. I read all the comments and yes the USB socket is slightly below the panel, I have not found any USB's that did not work.
Tested this out on a USB 2.0 system and it is down compatible to USB2.0 as well. Good surprise.
I have the 3.5mmx1.25mm barrel jack for the external power, however if the USB3.0 system it is connected to there should be effective power to run the majority of items. If you are charging a new big tablet or Iphone or Droid then you will probably need an external source since they take 2 amps plus.
Cable length is not an issue with me since I use extension cables for all my adapters.Lire l'avis complet...

The only thing I have neg. about is color, would have liked black.
The usb multi port and SD card reader works very good. The remote placement makes for much easier use and be able to have more ports.

Handy little USB & Memory Card Hub
When I bought this it was after looking on Amazon and Wal-Mart to see what I could find to be the cheapest for what I wanted, and shockingly this came up to being about the best deal. It did take a few more days to receive but it was worth the wait. It has a nice build quality, I was able to hang it by my computer on the wall with a couple of double sided sticky pads. I'm able to plug flash drives into it and it runs great. I haven't needed the memory cards yet but it's a great addition. Also it has a power port for adding additional external power for devices that need more juice (I don't have this, though I've thought to look and see what it would cost). Overall it's a decent little USB hub, it has 3.0 slots and the memory card slots, overall worth it to me.Lire l'avis complet...

I should have bought this long ago.
I was just looking for more USB ports, and came across this. It was a nice surprise to have an SD slot included.
My old computer didn't come with one, so this is mighty handy.
I wasn't sure it the unit would work, as my USB is 2.0, but I found it is backward compatible.
