"Never Do Another" , please,Tom Cruise (as Reacher)

My wife and I are Lee Child/Jack Reacher fans, and have every book. They are unrealistic but fun reading, in an imaginary world that only Reacher could live in.

Cruise's first effort in the series a couple years ago, was passable, and Robert Duvall was effective in his role.

This time out, it was forgettable, not engaging, and frankly, no fun.

It was always a stretch for Tom to be playing this character...he is not nearly the physical specimen that the fictional Reacher has been made out to be for twenty or so novels. Now Tom is, they say, fifty-four years old in here, but the narrative calls him forty, and it is just hard to believe. Tom takes his shirt off more than Reacher does, but it does not add much to the story.

Tom's time as an action hero is limited greatly from now on, I fear, so he may go to light comedy or romantic drama for his remaining twenty or thirty year probable career.

I don't want my money back, but I am unlikely to buy another Cruise/Reacher should they decide to continue this farce.Lire l'avis complet...

Doesn't live up to the First, but a solid movie.

Any sequel has a hard time being as good as the original, and this one is no different. But since "Jack Reacher" is a great movie, it was an almost impossible task.

Make no mistake, this is a solid movie on its own. Cobi Smulders has a good fit with the Reacher character.

Not as good as the original

I don't believe this is an original movie. It looks kind of like a copy to me. But I could be wrong. Movie was interesting and had great action. Not as good as the first. Nothing like the original

I couldn't have been more pleased with the price and the prompt delivery of the DVD. However, Jack Reacher-Never Go Back pales in comparison to "Jack Reacher". Jack Reacher Never Go Back

Solid follow up to the first. Reacher just seems to get into trouble no matter what he seems
to do. He sure knows how to get out of it and take care of things.

Reacher Rules

May be a copy

The movie is a great action movie but it may be a copy. There was no paper work included in the jewel case and the plastic wrapping was not done like factory sealed movie. I enjoyed the second installment of Jack Reacher as much as the first movie. Lot of action and the movie kept my attention throughout the movie.
