The search for acoustic similarities continues..........

Simple, this does not mimic or replicate closely any acoustic guitar.....tried it with single coil and humbucker pickups. Some EQ ability, not enough o come close to a "faux" acoustic guitar sound. I differ with any critics or other videos demonstrating this as a pedal with this ability.........cost sometimes is not a factor in certain situations, but this is not expensive and should not be, it does nothing to satisfy the thirst for a temporary facsimile of a acoustic guitar.

I expected it to do enough for short fills between harder electric but falls short....very short. I asked, demonstrated and played for several people when i opened the box...spent adequate time tweeking the knobs.......changing pickup positions and guitars itself. I can only make a positive comment on the packaging and small size.

Fizzy and noisy with untamed bass

This pedal does what it should but is unusable. There are added fizzy sounds —maybe to simulate acoustic string rattle? There is also a ton of digital noise. The bottom end is over kill in the low mids maybe 300–120hz? And can mud up a live mix really quickly without even trying. Pretty disappointedLire l'avis complet...

Not perfect but damn close to channel an acoustic vibe live.

I've been consistently impressed by Joyo since they started some years back. Although I saw them as throw away pedals that were good for the price, they have slowly built better and better pedals as the years have passed.

I purchased this pedal alongside a very (hall of fame-esque) nice reverb pedal. The price-point, while higher than other Joyo pedals, is below it's comparable competing pedals. This pedal in particular was for me to be able to emulate an acoustic-like sound during my live performances as I'm covering a lot of metal with acoustic arrangements or quick interludes. While no pedal can perfectly capture an acoustic sound, this pedal manages to come close enough to channel a very acoustic like EQ with a richness of clean tone that is hard to describe.

Wonderful crispness and buttery highs melt inside some tightly voices acoustic lows reminiscent of quality processed acoustic steel string guitars. For the price and for my need (others may expect a more realistic acoustic sound), the pedal does the trick.

Plus: The construction is solid, feels premium and has a nice weight to it, which helps with its small footprint. A great way to gain some real-estate on your pedal board.

Pretty good for the price

Works pretty well to “suggest”
an acoustic guitar, in other words, it comes close enough.

I have several acoustic pedals for electric guitar. This Joyo Ironman pedal is very realistic and and a great price.
