I love this CD released by Slipknot in 2001. It is the 2nd album released by the band with lead singer Corey Taylor. Slipknot has been called a "mix of grinding, post-Korn alternative metal, Marilyn Manson-esque neo-shock rock, and rap-metal" by ALLMUSIC. They are an orchestra of 9 members who create lyrical chaos but make it form so well. Iowa is a thrashing example of their talent and skillful writings. It has great hits such as 'People=sh*t' 'Heretic Anthem' & 'Left behind' just to name a few of my favorites. Slipknot - Iowa

i acctually already owned this album but i re bought it so that i could give it to a friend. Slipknot is a nine man band, and there sick! If anyone likes slipknot and doesn't own this album then there missing out on some of there best songs. On this album slipknot showed a darker side to them, they also showed that there more than just a band who knows how to be hardcore and insane metal heads, also they proved to be more than just a mask wearing band who takes it to another level. in this album they showed the versitility that they have. they went from being dark, to darker. Iowa is an insane album and it's got a lot of good songs. I listen to the entire album consistantly, there are only 3 songs that i skip when i listen to the album. If someone doesn't know much about Slipknot but they like harcore/heavy metal/metal. then they need to add this album to their collection. also if your a fan of slipknot and your new to it then your going to want to have this album because it's a piece of history, it shows the progression of slipknot from their first album until now. SlipKnot.... Iowa

I bought this Cd becouse it´s the one I was missing from my SlipKnot collection. It´s a good, southern hard rock, SlipKnot just never let´s you down. Love blasting it on my car cd player, it just takes me to a nother level. The fast playing drums and the voice of Corey MMMMMMMMMMM. The cover is awsom and I think it's the best cover of all the SlipKnot´s Cd. If you like godd hevy metal you will love SlipKnot´s IOWA

By far the heaviest Slipknot album. This is the soundtrack to everything violent, hateful, and insane. This album makes me wanna pound a fifth of Wild Turkey, slam a gram of Meth, steal a brand new 3/4 ton truck, ram it broadside into a loaded sunday-school bus at 114 m.p.h., make a necklace out of human fingers, then just start mowing down everyone in sight with an AR-15 untill a Swat sniper finally pops my skull like a coconut. This CD plays perfectly with no scratches and it doesn't skip.
