Great storage for vintage computers!

I use this with my vintage Mac collection. It can be easily hooked up via the SCSI port and is fast, probably faster than the old hard drives those came with! A big help for Mac Plus that don'ts even have a hard drive!
I'm not sure that these discs are as reliable as the SyQuest ones, it seems that the platter on the ZIP disk is thinner, so probably not as resistent.Lire l'avis complet...

Classic downlevel drive

Great drive to read old ZIP disks if you have the correct interfaces and cables.

Iomega Zip drive

No power switch -1star. Other than that, I've owned 2ea Zip & Jaz SCSI drives w/o issue. As long as you make sure compatibility isn't an issue, they seem to do the job well. As with any older equipment, back up...back up...back up! Lire l'avis complet...
