Great CPU for old Desktop PCs! This CPU breathed a second life into my old DELL Vostro machine. I was about to throw it out and then decided to upgrade old dual core CPU. And - Voila! the old PC got a new life. Coupled with new 256 GB SSD drive this old Dell Vostro now runs Windows 11 Pro(yes, you can install Windows 11 if you do your homework) and runs all modern apps without a hitch except for the video games. Exactly as described. Arrived promptly. Installed without difficulty and seems to work fine. PC has frozen once in the two weeks since installation, but with Windows that sometimes just happens. If the CPU were faulty I'd expect to have seen a lot more trouble than that!Lire l'avis complet...

Acceptable cost, great boost for my PC speed.

For my Mainboard, what is a little old, this was the second best choice. The first choice was too expensive and just a little bit better. Power consump is not higher those inferior type processors.

At the reduced price really a good bag for the bucks

I upgraded an ASUS P5K Deluxe from a 2.8ghz quad processor to the 3.0ghz and yes, It seamed at least 20% faster. I did have some issues. The motherboard gave me issues about overheating. But the solution was a motherboard BIOS upgrade. After that, smooth sailing. Before the BIOS update the CPU was registering 209 degrees. Old, Still Gold!

Even though released in the 2000's and over decade old tech. - still kicks with a good motherboard and adequate DDR3 RAM. Won't play todays high end game at max. setting but will still perform on lowered game settings (with lower frame rate). Will handle normal web usage (browsing/email/shopping/video/streaming/business accounts) no problems. Reviewed as overclockable (haven't given it a shot yet) to stable 4.0 GHz ( and a little higher) with some tweaking. Worth the money.Lire l'avis complet...

It performs as it is supposed to for a used product. The price was comparable to similar products which allows for my thirteen year old son to play video games again.

Older CPU but it works great in my older PC. Took my PC to it's max. Should allow me to continue using my PC for a little longer.

Took my Optiplex 780 SFF to a great new level of performance. Saved the expense of a new system....Only had to flash the Bios to get the system to recognize it...
