Worth the investment. Guys do it.

I bought this to upgrade my MacBook to a faster one at a cheaper price. Initially I have removed the manufacturer's 5400RPM Toshiba 250GB HDD and installed Seagate Momentus XT 500GB Hybrid . I was not happy with this as speed did not increased and I have a problem with BootCamp.

Rather than spending to buy a new MacBook with a SSD drive, I thought I will buy this SSD drive from E-bay and bought another Optical Drive exchange to a HDD package with 1TB HDD.

This really improved the speed of my mac I would say twice the speed and HDD rotating sound and vibration is completely None.

I am very happy that I took this option rather than selling my macbook at a low cost and spending a lot of money to buy a new MacBook.

The total I spend for this whole episode is US$450.00 and it took me and my friend around 30 minutes to complete the task.

My Mac is now super speed and I will be upgrading from 4GB to 8GB soon. It is now on its way.

Solid value

This is one of the older Intel SSD. I bought it for a Macbook Pro from 2006 hoping to increase boot times and programs launching. It worked but not as well as I hoped and I returned it. I was unable to load the firmware on it. Its a ISO and... just no luck but don't let that dissuade you. These beauties are around for less then $100.00 and are great for Windows systems and now Ubuntu Linux 14.04 has TRIM support.

TRIM adds life to the drive. Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 have TRIM built it as well. Get one and you will see added speed. Great for older computers.Lire l'avis complet...

When i copied to the SSD it didnt get the right boot bios to ramp up my win 10.

Nevertheless it is a very good deal, a true keeper. My tech man is on vacation now and post his vacation it will get made right. It took GOD 7 days!

Using this ssd on my old xps m1730. Dual booting win 7 with this ssd and my original wd scorpio black 160gb 7200rpm HDD .This ssd is amazing!!!! it boots about 5 seconds compared to my hdd 35secs (after windows screen) .I boot into my ssd for gaming alone ,and i boot into my hdd for work etc. files are accessible on both devices,it was advised that i leave alot of free space on my ssd so i store most data on my externals or my hdd. So far my ssd has exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend someone upgrading to one (as long as you store your junk data on something else)Lire l'avis complet...

I basicly wanted a high performance hard drive, it worked very well.

I bought this product for a laptop that I have. I bought it for faster performance,it did surprise me how fast the laptop worked.

I always use Intel SSD products in all my network.

Intel is the best SSD in the market.
With the Intel SSD toolbox you can maintain the disk in good health and it's original speeds.
I tried other brands in the past but Intel stands out.
