Rock 'Em Sock "Em Meets Sci Fi Panache

Rock 'em sock 'em Sci Fi!! The original film is wonderful in Blu-ray. It does a great job of entertaining and amusing and dazzling with it's superb cast and special effects. Sequels are dangerous endeavors. But this one does not disappoint filling in the blanks between the two episodes with plausible events and character evolutions. The special effects of the sequel continue the style and competence of the first film as does the beautiful sound work. And Jeff Goldbloom deserves a metal both for his acting, that manages to juggle realism with a sort of sophisticated cheekiness, and for his efforts as the needed anchor between the two films.. Independence Day: 1 & 2 (Blu-Ray)

These are great movies. It's awesome that they put them into a combined set. The digitals are also great to have, especially for travelling.
