Very good High Def projector
I had one for over a year, putting more than 3,000 hours on it between watching movies and playing games. Unless there was a focused light on the screen area itself, ambient light did not detract much from the viewing quality. In a normally lit room, we could watch movies or play games (or surf the internet/show powerpoint presentations/etc.) comfortably... even when projecting on a bare wall (we tried white, beige, and a neutral not-quite white walls... it seemed to make little difference, aside from the texture; the flatter and smoother the better).
Of course, a dark room and a professional screen made the image just pop - at that point you could truly see the DLP/HD difference! In the normal lighting situations, it seemed good, as good as any normal TV (but 10 times bigger)... but when set up in a theater environment, it really shines!
We had the projector about 12 to 15 feet away from the screen area, and had a 12' wide (not diagonal) screen. It defaults to a 'normal' 4:3 aspect ratio, but a 16:9 movie still looks huge on a 12' wide 4:3 screen!
It is a bit dated now, and there are some better projectors out there; but even then, it still remains one of the top 10 I have seen!Lire l'avis complet...
