Complete kit with quality components at a great value, solved my misfire condition.
The construction is very good quality, even better than the OEM unit that was replaced. Aluminum body, heavy duty bearings and gears, distributor cap uses copper contacts. Complete unit/kit makes replacement very easy. The price is very good for this level of quality. For easy replacement: 1) Remove the old distributor cap. 2) Manually turn the engine until the rotor points to the "6" stamped on the body (V6, actually the #1 contact). 3) Remove the old distributor and replace with new unit, without cap, so that new rotor points to the same stamped "6" location. 4) Bolt the new distributor in place and install the new cap.Lire l'avis complet...

plastic is the best replacement than metal distriburtors for stock application
the item that i got was not the plastic item that is pictured. The metal housing does not allow the distributor to sit flush on the intake manifold without 3 or more distributor gaskets under the base. i have encountered this before, and that;s why i wanted the plastic one that's like the original type

It was a direct fit and had actual threaded screw holes with brass inserts unlike the plastic holes in my old distributor that stripped out after having the cap off a few times.
