Poor warranty

It works fine, pretty much like any coil. The 90 day warranty is horrible and Pertronix WILL NOT stand behind their products if it is 1 day out, so beware. I had one (the oil-filled one) go bad 6 mo. out and they just said too bad. I'll roll the dice with this epoxy filled one and see if that is longer lasting. I do like that they make a 3.0 ohms coil as that can be a bit harder to find.Lire l'avis complet...

40611 epoxy filled , ok, shipping box from pertronix needs bubble wrap, I had to repaint the coil.

Note : I did call tech support at pertronix and relay that they need to do a better job of packaging!

Appeared used

When I opened the box the unit came in (stated new) where the coil wire is attached looked like it had been used. I am still trouble shooting to see when my problem is in the engine starting, but wondering if it is the Pertronix coil?Lire l'avis complet...

Great 12v coil for old jeeps

Bought this following a 6v to 12v conversion for my 1944 Willys. A sure-fire start every time. Coupled with an electronic ignition module, everything is so much more reliable. I already had a Pertronix 6v coil in the jeep before so I'm good with this manufacturer. Guess I should have taken the sticker off before mounting it ! Not very WW2.Lire l'avis complet...

Works great, a great performer!

This coil works perfectly with my Pertronix ignition on my '57 JD 420C crawler. Tractor started right thru the Maine winter without a problem, even in zero degrees.

Buy this coil

This is the one that you are looking for. Your 4-6 cylinder tractor will thank you. Needs no resistor. I have a 1955 Allis Chalmers Model B. It really does the job.
