This pedal is a must have for any gigging guitar player. It is totally versatile, it all revolves around the MODE knob, offering 4 practical, usable settings, allowing the user to pick from 4 completely different voicings. I use a Marshall JCM 800 head, I use this pedal with the mode knob set to the first setting for the original TS9 voicing when I am going for a hot rodded sound in conjunction with that head, especially for leads. I have used the pedal in the HOT setting with a fender combo to get a great bluesy tone. When using the 3rd and 4th mode it pushes into the metal zone. A well made pedal that adds a nice tube tone to your set up.

I had heard alot about this pedal through word of mouth and magazines. The quality of the construction is very good. It has a lot of tone variation. I like to use it as a boost to the tone and volume. It gives a nice edge to the sound. I haven't had this pedal very long and still am experimenting with it. Not sure which setting I like best on the overdrive, but I seem to keep going back to the original TS 9 setting. I think this pedal would be great for lead guitar with some bite. I prefer to use the BOSS MT-2 for the heavier rythm. I use this pedal with a Fender blues, Jr amp and I think it saves on the tubes rather than cranking the Amp way up.Lire l'avis complet...

Great updated version of a classic pedal.

There are 55,000 overdrive pedals on the market today and impossible to test them all. However, this one is a safe choice especially if you are interested in the classic rock tone. Very close to the original tube screamer with some updated options. Awesome!Lire l'avis complet...

None Better

I've been playing for 41 years. And boy are my arms tired. But seriously folks-if I had to pick just one pedal from all the pedals I own-which are many-this is the one. I'm told Keeley does not make these anymore, that you need to buy a stock one and mail it to him. The rolloff on this pedal is legendary. Better than advertised

The Ibanez pedal was said to be used but in great shape. When I got it, it was like new and had a new battery. It was ready to rock!

Ibanez turbo tube screamer

I absolutely enjoy the turbo tube screamer. I have used the tube screamer in the past but the turbo just makes it even better.

Fantastic pedal for any guitar player!

The TS9DX is the more intense model of the TS9. It includes a hot switch as well as a turbo switch. This pedal, compared to others, gives a very clean, unmuddled overdrive. Absolutely amazing

I’ve been using this pedal with a Marshall JCM 800, and it thickens up the high gain channel without losing any of the signature Marshall tone.
