Back to The Future

The author takes us on a sentimental journey back to what appears to be a simpler and easier way of life. When you glance at the photos and advertizements of the 1930s,1940's,& 1950's you grab hold of what was & realize how far we have come. Many of the Ads look like they were from the era of the "Ozzie & Harriet", "Father Knows Best" TV shows. If you lived during those times one has to wonder "Where did the time go?". Ms.Zweig has written a wonderful and colorful piece on Americana. F. W. Woolworth 5 & Dime Stores, Montgomery Ward Catslog, Sunbeam, Admiral, SOS Pads, Anchorglass, Kelvinator, Rinso,Duz, Wear-Ever, ect.
