Almost a perfect 5 stars, but there are a few "minor" issues
Bad news first, but good news is coming. There are two things that kept me from leaving a 5-star review. First, when the dirty water tank gets filled with a lot of foam from the cleaner, it starts spitting foam on the floor. You have to stop and empty and clean the tank out. Second, the brushes are difficult to clean when the lint from the carpet gets in them. You could spend all day trying to get all the lint out. I finally had to use a soft scrub brush to scrub the brushes! That was about 85% successful.
Now for the GOOD NEWS. The directions for assembling the machine, operating the machine and cleaning the machine are impeccable and easy to follow. The machine cleans GREAT and does a super job of removing the water out of the carpet.

Wouldn't have anything but a Hoover
I bought a Hoover cleaner about 16 years ago and wore it out. This one is such a nice machine. Easy to clean because parts snap off and on. No ore screwdrivers and rusty screws. It also really extracts the water well. I like the fact that I'm not mixing the cleaner with the water. My carpet had one really filthy spot in one area...It made the linen color in the carpet come back like new!

GREAT CARPET CLEANER
this is one of the most easiest Carpet Cleaner to use. Easy assy only had to install one screw to install the handle. The dirty water container is two halves and cleaning it is easy.

I have purchased several carpet cleaners and have been disappointed with their cleaning abilities- until I purchased this one! The quality is great!
This is a wonderful carpet cleaner and is by far the best I've ever owned! It picks up about 95% of the liquid it puts out and is great on pet stains. I recommend it- especially if you have pets.

Work horse carpet cleaner
This is my second Extract 60 Max and I can't say enough what a work horse this little unit has been. I couldn't replace a cracked part through Hoover or parts warehouses so opted to buy all the parts by purchasing an entire new shampooer! The price point was great via ebay online purchase. Hoover Max Extract 60

Does a good job.
I bought one of these a year ago for my mobile home in Florida and loved it. So now I bought another for my home in Tennessee. I had an older model that I bought at least 15 years ago and it didn't have the rotating brushes. This model works much better. I am so pleased with my Hoover Max Extract 60 Pressure Pro Carpet Deep Cleaner. I was able to quickly unbox the product and begin shampooing my carpets. Pet stains were easily extracted first time.
