Its good but not great

I guess it was an improvement over the stock one on my gibson les paul cm. But then I changed it to an abm brass one and wow. What a difference i did kept the aluminum locking studs since when i tried the tonepros brass ones it seemed those werent a good match. So i basically paid $77 for locking studs. I dont really care cause i know im gonna use it on another guitar soon.Lire l'avis complet...

Rubbish

Received the item in good time. Sadly the product does not live up to the hype. Cheaply made. The chrome started flaking off what looks like a Zinc base as I started threading the strings and then around the bridge as i tightened the lock nuts, and one of the posts sheared off as I was tightening the lock nut, revealing how thin the metal was between the inside of the hex key hole & the outside thread. So I had to reinstate the old fixed intonation bridge by necessity. Either Hipshot have become super-cheap with their fabrication or this item is a forgery. Either way, I remain unimpressed - don't buy these, they're garbage.Lire l'avis complet...
