Hikvision 3MP Doorbell Camera

This camera works the way it is supposed to and will connect to wifi with Hik-Connect or Guarding Vision apps. My DVR with ONVIF protocol communicates with it fine and displays the live view, which can be recorded continuously on my DVR. One drawback is that my Hikvision DVR will not interface with the motion activated events on the doorbell camera, so I either have to record continuously or allow the doorbell camera to record events on the local SD card, which I purchased separately. I did not opt for the cloud service, as the whole idea on using this device was to avoid paying a monthly fee. Another drawback is that my wifi tends to cut out periodically, so the camera feed will be on mostly, but goes off occasionally and requires that I reconnect the wifi to get connection to my Hikvision DVR. Sometimes, it reconnects by itself, but the point is that it is not like a normal IP camera that is continuously connected. The video is 3MP quality and looks pretty good. The bevel that comes with the camera was also helpful to get the full view at my front door on another camera in my garage. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.Lire l'avis complet...
