Heroes Season 3

Purchased because my fiance and I have been watching the show from the start on dvd... we never have time to catch the latest episode on tv, as we usually have things to do. As one of our favorite tv shows, it was an obvious purchase for us. The beauty of having it on dvd is we can watch it whenever we get time to and we don't have to wait on commercials or next week to get here if we've time for a marathon. That being said, I must admit that this season takes a little getting used to in the beginning as season two was rather short due to the writer's strike that happened that year. The primary reason this season takes some getting used to is that I feel the show started taking a different direction than where it was originally intended due to the writer's strike. Hooked on Series

The 3rd series was a little strange (but what can I say it's been different from season 1). It seems like everyone in episode 3 has abilities/ powers, which to me takes away from it's uniqueness. The last episode I was like "Say What?" it ended more than a little different (I never would have seen that one coming). Didn't watch this while it was on tv, but love it now. To get the real benefit of how clever the writers are you need to watch from the start. The actors do an amazing job with the twists and turns of all their characters and plots. So sorry it was cancelled.Lire l'avis complet...

heroes season 3 dvd review

heroes season 3 does not hold back and is incredibly complex in the directions the story takes, delving into the past, traveling into the future, and coming out with a story that will leave you breathless. action, romance, horror, comedy, and secrets about the characters one would have never thought possible.
after having vied all 4 seasons of this series it should be stated that this is the most well written of them all. if you haven't seen it you will never be complete until you do. a must for any comic book lover and a must for anyone who loves an incredible story.Lire l'avis complet...

Heroes saved me from the TV BLAHS!

I started watching this show during it's second season and was immediately hooked! I had to buy the first season on DVD to catch up and watched the entire season in one weekend. The writing on this show is amazing! It definitely leaves you guessing week to week wondering what in the world are they going to think of next! The actors in the show are some of the finest in my opinion because these types of roles are difficult ones to portray and make believable. I actually start to believe some of their special abilities are real! ;) well kind of.. Awesome program...takes me back to my comic book days

Loved the show because it brought back so many memories from my youth when superheroes weren't just the stuff of the comics my friends & I swapped, but were the building blocks of our own imaginations. the item receaived was in horrid condition...the item described as factory new was far from it...first: the slots inside the dvd case that hold the dvds themselves were not attatched to the dvd case itself instead it was loose and moving arouund in the dvd case it was also like that with the 2nd set of dvd holders for disc 3 and 4...second:it looked like someone has tried to glue the pplastic that holds the disc in the case back onto the case and it obviously didnt work...3rd: there are a pieces of the case itself were its partially torn...im afraid to see if the discs themselves even work...i really hope soLire l'avis complet...
