Great alternative to cable and satellite
I don't watch much live TV at all, but every once in a while there's something I would like to see, like the Olympics, etc. This, combined with a cheap antenna like the Leaf Metro ($12, also on eBay) is a great way to get basic TV channels like ABC, NBC, FOX and CBS in full, uncompressed HD for a single investment. In my case, less than $50 all-in, and I never have to see a cable or satellite bill again. It works beautifully with native Xbox One functionality like OneGuide, voice control, trending and favorites. Plus you can pause live TV.
TLDR: Inexpensive, high quality option for people who don't watch much TV to get the basic OTA networks for your Xbox One. Highly recommended.Lire l'avis complet...

Not working great
It is easy to setup. It worked well for couple of weeks, but then signal started breaking. My other TV where I connected Coaxial cable directly to TV works flawless. Does its job, well.
The only downside to using this device is that is does In fact require a WiFi connection to use both the channel guide and scroll. Without your Xbox retrieving the data from Xbox live, it will stay on one channel.

For the price compared with the features offered. It should be a fifteen buck item. Was hoping it could solve not running coax cable to the bed room. By using the stream feature. A useful idea that Microsoft killed
I decided to get one of this for my Xbox One S because my TV doesn't have a program guide, and because being able to pause a program for up to 30 is awesome. It was pretty easy to install, although the console never let me know that it recognized the device until I ran the OTA setup from the settings. Of course you can plug an antenna directly to your tv and get the same content but with this device you use one guide to see what's on every channel and what's coming up. This device is super easy to install. Plug in antenna and plug the device into the xbox.

Instructions are easy; plug it in, enter zip code, scan, enjoy tv in the xbone. Used a different powered external antenna. Would recommend. Very happy with the device.

Works with Enigma 2 OS
I bought this for use with an Enigma 2 (Linux) based satellite receiver, not an XBox. This is the same as the Hauppauge 955Q, same drivers, but less expensive because it doesn't have the video capture cable included. For my purpose it is plug and play.
