Neat, Clean, Mint Set! Very Happy Customer

The books arrived sealed in plastic inside the trunk. The trunk was cushioned well inside another box. I luv this author Rowling and her work to complete "7" books in total. A pamphlet rests aside the books which when removed allows you enough room to pick out the books. The trunk is made heavy cardboard with a plastic lock in front. The size of the trunk is seven regular size books apart so its yeah heavy. The paper pages are thick good paper not the newspaper type paper used on bargain books. So worth buying, every book was new, all in order, perfect, perfect, and perfect! I had doubts about buying at first because there was a fair amount of bad reviews, but ignore them all! It is so worth buying the set! Although for those of you who have it in your head that the trunk it comes in is made of wood... SERIOUSLY? Very Happy!

The cover art is well designed, with lots of colour. There are interesting pictures at the beginning of each chapter. Unfortunately there is no other pictures throughout the books; this is likely due to these copies being designed for adults. The chest is made of cardboard and the latch is plastic. The latch's design is interesting. The handles are made of soft rope and are easy to grasp. The "Deliver to:" note and Hogwarts stamp that are printed on the chest's top are a nice touch. The books fit well in the chest's cardboard insert and don't rattle around while being carried. The insert and books were covered in protective plastic wrap. The insert had to be removed from the box to get the wrap off. Putting the insert back in the chest was awkward, as the lid kept getting in the way. i have read slightly negative reviews of this but I love it ... yes the box is cardboard but my set of books are showing wear plus, as I got that at different times over the course of first publication they did not match... Books were in great condition

The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the trunk that they came in was in poor condition. One of the handles on the side was ripped off and the plastic piece on the front that holds it closed had ripped the cardboard and couldn't be used. The box it was shipped in was in perfect condition so that means the trunk was damaged before being shipped, so I was purposely given a damaged box, which at the price I spent, shouldn't have been that way.Lire l'avis complet...

This is my second reading of these books before binge-watching the movies...I gave my first 7 book set to my grandson years ago and was very glad to find this set.

harry potter galore

the box looks amazing, and it holds the books pretty well. i would've like the box to be playwood or even plastic tough, or even a stronger cardwood would've been better. anyway, if taken cared for this would last for a long time, and you get all the amazing books, and the stickers that you could stick to the box, or even your laptop, or books if you so desire.

i think overal this is a great collection for the hardcore fans, or even new harry potter readers. i'm really happy with my purchase, and this will make a very hard gift to give.Lire l'avis complet...
