It works but is an incomplete replacement harness: missing the illumination wire.

It works fine but there is no orange illumination wire.

This is important to me as I don't like a bright interior at night. The package lists the orange wire and there is a dimmer on my JVC-KD510, as well as most of the other radio models listed in the product description. However, the product description did not indicate that the orange wire is excluded. In fact, the main picture shows an orange wire yet if you look closely at the picture of the whole harness, the orange wire is absent. I didn't look close enough the first time.

So if you want the dimmer function to work on your radio when you turn your lights on, I would buy another harness and/or ask the seller if it has the orange wire. I was able to cannibalize a junk harness and figure out which pin was the right one on my radio... so rigged it to work.Lire l'avis complet...

A great deal for radio plug

The best part about it is the package shows you what each color wires is for power, speakers, ground and so on really helps on installation.

wasnt rite for newer kenwood or jvc sx830bt my double din plug is smaller not worth hassle mailing back just repinned short wire

While the radio/CD functions of this stereo system are fine, but display is barely legible and gets worse over time.
