I bought these speakers used. They came in great shape, and work perfectly. The 6 watts of power is more than enough for my purposes. Great Harmon Kardon speakers set!

I had this same set of speakers on my Dell computer--then used them on my new Asus computer and for about 10 years they worked great! I noticed they were starting to not work and looked for another set just like them. I found them at and immediately ordered them. They are lightweight and work great! I know I will have these speakers for a long time and I am happy they were still available at ebay. I looked everywhere and could not find these until coming to ebay! Great Speakers

Had to replace similar Harmon Kardon speakers for my computer that were probably 25 years old and the sound had deteriorated. Only difficulty was having to replace the connection to the back of the computer behind the desk. The power connection was different than my old one. The sound on these speakers is greatly improved. older but better

Little speakers, big sound

The new pc I bought had a very weak sound card and you could barely hear my non-amplified speakers I was using. It sounded like someone else in the room was wearing headphones.
I picked these up because I found them cheap. They amplify the weak signal very well and the sound is actually quite decent. They put out a good amount of bass for being so small.

Works great

I got this same pair with my Dell computer in 2001. I was still using them, but they had a short in them, and you can't open the housing to fix it. I found these here on ebay, so I bought them. They are great speakers!! I use them to listen to music online, and they are just as good as house speakers. Computer speakers that far surpased any expectations I may have had.

These speakers are absolutely amazing, and far surpassed any expectations I may have had. The clarity and amplication abiliy is so intense that my kids were scared when I first turned them on. I was happily surprised by the look on my husband's face when he heard them. (They sure beat the new Sony speakers he picked out for me at the same price.) I had him return them, to handle it on my own. He said, "What are you expecting a concert?" Well, a music lover appreciates high quality audio.
