Utopia is always somewhere else & nothing good ever comes from attachment!

A friend recently lent me this book. After reading 1 chapter I stopped reading her copy and got my own copy off ebay so I could underline things and write notes on what I was reading. I'm only on chapter 3 but so far it's awesome! I used to think I was a dualist because I think things only appear to us through their opposites. This book is making me think that things are not separate from each other for the exact same reason. And if we are not separate then we are all part of the whole, we are equal. Equanimity is integral to real love, compassion, patience and kindness. Anything that helps me become more loving and kind is a good thing in my book.
