Hilarious look at the Hollywood of yesteryear. Tightly paced and beautifully shot, with scene-stealing performances by Alden Ehrenreich, Josh Brolin, and Ralph Fiennes. Another modern classic by the Coen Brothers. Certainly it will be appreciated by those with a love for the studio's golden age, but will it be enjoyed by those who have yet to see the films upon which Hail, Caesar! is based? I thought that this was supposed to be funny. Maybe I was wrong.

I waited forty minutes or so for something funny to happen. I think that one thing happened once. I gave up after that. Does anyone want my copy?
