This smartphone gets an A+

This is the smartphone of my dreams. Everything about it lives up to what was promised. It is easy to use. The screen is crystal clear and the colors are dynamic. The apps are of great quality - they download easy and work with the phone seamlessly. The camera is fantastic. I love the feature of taking a picture and then immediately having the option of sending it to someone via email, text, facebook, twitter, even dropbox, which my husband uses for his work. The battery life is longer than I expected. It lasts a normal day of use. I spent two weeks comparing phones before I made this purchase, and I do not regret this choice for a second. In fact, a week after purchasing my HTC Vivid, I bought one for my husband as well.Lire l'avis complet...

Great Phone. Very Well worth it. a bit clunky but everything you would need

Well Ive Had this phone before and i loved it. the features on it are great and the power of this phone is impressive. i game a lot and when i turn to mobile games this phone satisfies my gaming habits because the screen is big and the power overall is decent enough to run a good game. (if you know What BTD5 is... it starts lagging around round 65) overall if you just use if for more traditional uses it will accommodate you very well. it sure did for me.Lire l'avis complet...

great value, quality product!

i got these phones to replace our antiquated old phones (no touch screen, definitely "dumb" phones!). i love the large, clear screen, speed, ability to download all the apps i need, and the fact that it takes a 32gb sd card (i take lots of pics). the price was way below what comparable phones cost elsewhere. one of the phones didn't work upon arrival, but the seller was wonderful about returning and replacing it quickly! the battery life is average, but i installed an app to help with that, battery doctor, and it has helped quite a bit. overall, this is an excellent product, and i wouldn't hesitate to use this seller again!Lire l'avis complet...

Okay Phone

The phone functions well but discharges very rapidly if I am out of my local calling area. It also has many proprietary apps that I don't want and can't get rid of (like Facebook). Over all it is an adequate phone but I would like a little more control over the aps installed.Lire l'avis complet...

Awesome phone. Works fabulously well. Love it.

Great little Smartphone that I purchased -- pre-owned & unlocked for global GSM use -- specifically for a vacation trip to Ireland and the United Kingdom. Popped in a WorldSim calling/data SIM that I bought before my trip and the phone worked like a charm both in the USA and in UK/Ireland.This smartphone has got it all: 3G & 4G data & Wi-fi, GPS (does not need to be connected to cell carrier to work), full GSM quad band support. Swype, which is a necessity for me, also works well. I didn't need even half of the 16 GB it came with, and could have added a lot more to it. All my usual applications -- which I downloaded from the Google Play Store -- worked great both at home in the USA & abroad with the same ease that they work on my iPhone. For a phone that is several years old, it's screen is -- as per it's name -- "Vivid" and crisp and the colors are as good as most higher-end new Smartphones on the market. I had previously been an owner of the Samsung s3, s4 and s5, and the HTC Vivid doesn't seem any less substantial than any of these in terms of features and functionality or in performance. In fact, it has a substantially more expensive feel than any of the faux-metal plastic s-series Samsung phones.Lire l'avis complet...

Doesnt live up to the hype...

I was having trouble with my HTC Inspire (AT&T) right before I switched to the Vivid. From what I read it was a very sleek phone, good amount of memory, excellent display and good 4G connection. For the most part, all of this was true but the worst thing about the phone is its battery life. With it fully charged, after just checking emails for about 5 minutes, half of my battery life is gone. It has a good feature that shows you what services are draining the most of your battery. When I checked this, it was the screen itself! If you are on your phone regularly, love to check emails, browse the net, play games like I do, the Vivid doesnt last.Lire l'avis complet...

great phone, i love it, cheap, strong and fast

Excellent Phone, big size, strong, battery acceptable, the only problem is the android version it came with .23 but you can update for free to android 4.0 and enjoy all the new features and apps for this version. the camera works really nice, very bright pictures, gps function also, its really fast and rarely crash the Os. i really love this phone and i recommend to anyone who want an average phone with good features.Lire l'avis complet...

Very good product! Great value for the money!

I bought it to upgrade from my HTC Inspire since this one has features like the front camera that the other one doesn't. This is a very good phone, very easy to use and with great OS.
The only thing that you may not like so much is the size. Given that now HTC released its new model "ONE" that one is a lot lighter and thiner. Vivid is still abit heavy, but it is good value for the money.Lire l'avis complet...

This is the one of the best mobile you can get for the given price !!!

My experience with HTC Vivid so far has been extremely satisfying. At half the price of IPhone 4S you can get a better equipped phone with 1GB RAM (vs IPhone 4S -- 512 MB), 1.2 gig dual core processor (vs. Iphone -- 1 gig processor) & 4G LTE support (Its a shame that Iphone 4S doesn't have the much needed 4G LTE support).

Vivid's display's amazing, it has nicely designed body and a decent design. Looking at the cons, its a bit heavier than it contemporaries, but carrying 30-35g extra doesn't bother me a lot. Also, battery life might be 10% less than its contemporaries but again you can purchase a spare battery for 10 bucks.

In terms of performance its truly amazing for the prize tag it comes with. All apps seem to work seamlessly and HTC sense has a wonderful UI. Skins, appearance and settings can be easily navigated.

Nice Phone, But Would Not Buy Again--Too Many Problems That Can't Be Solved

I bought this phone because I needed to be able to process credit cards. The Square works with it...some of the time. About 50% of the time, the phone insists that I have no wireless signal, even when I have 5 full bars and the Wi-Fi is clearly connected and working properly (I'm able to access webpages, etc.). HTC admits that the problem is with the phone, not the Square, but none of their solutions have worked.

When we visited Ireland at Christmas, many features would not work even though we specially activated them before leaving. Worst was the texting feature--we could receive texts from anyone, but could not send them to anyone in Ireland, even though we'd set it up so that we could.

The clock works properly as long as I'm in an area where there is no wireless available. The moment I reach an area where wireless is available, it starts to lose time. Multiple sessions with HTC tech support have failed to resolve this problem. They refuse to replace the phone. I have been very disappointed with their refusal to make things right when the problem is quite obviously with their hardware.

I like the phone, but would not buy another. There have just been too many problems that cannot be solved.
