Greetings All,
I have owned my HP PhotoSmart C4680 All-in-one Photo Printer for 8+ years now.
It has been totally reliable and I use it for everything to printing circuit board layouts, overlay inserts for making custom prototype panel overlays, ACAD drawings & more.
This printer has very high resolutions in each function (Printing, copying & scanning)

that rivals most of todays printers currently on sale at the HP Store. I just bought my 2nd one today due to that. There are many options on the C4680 for input devices that todays printers are devoid of all at once.
(Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, Multi-Media Card, SD Memory Card, SDHC Memory Card, xD-Picture Card)
Of course there is wireless and other more modern options for communicating with the newer printers, but I found that resolution and input devices were sacrificed on many many printers of today.
I give this printer 4.5-5.0. I really do not have much to say negative about this printer, other than it DOES use a bit more ink when used in higher resolutions. DUH!
So, if you want a very reliable yesteryear printer with super features, this one might be a consideration if you are not a "Wireless Geek!" and can live with "USB 2.0". :)

Great Buy, Popular All-In-One Printer

This printer is a popular brand and model of All-In-One style printers. It is often the cheapest available at most retailers, but it is well worth the value.

HP Photosmart C4680 All-In-One Inkjet Printer

I wanted a cheap all-in-one yet one that functioned well. After looking at several I chose to purchase this HP Photosmart C4680. I have been happy with it so far, used it now for a couple months on doing photos for scrapbooking and a verity of other functions and it works well and has been easy on ink also. That is one of the features that I looked for was cheaper ink,my last printer worked well but the ink was more costly. On the down side this printer is very noisy but still preforms well.Overall I am pleased with the performance and quality of this printer for the money.Lire l'avis complet...

HP Photosmart C4680 All-in-one Inkjet Printer Review

After a recent computer system upgrade, I discovered that my old printer wouldn't work because of a connectivity issue. I had been wanting to upgrade my printer for some time anyway to an all-in-one, so, after shopping around on eBay, I found what I consider to be the perfect all-in-one printer, scanner & copier for my particular use at home, and I'm very pleased with it so far [11/09/2009].

After some comparison shopping, I decided to purchase my HP Photosmart C4680 All-in-one Inkjet Printer, mainly for the print and scan features, but it's also nice to be able to make a copy of a document if you have to without having to run down to your local print shop or drug store to use their copy machine. And, I also have all the photo options if I need them. The advantages of owning an all-in-one become obvious the more you use one.

A good friend had recommended two other brands that I should check out first before HP, which I did, but they didn't fit all the criteria I needed and they weren't within my budget. Plus, I'm pretty much an HP guy anyway, having been using HP printers for years, so I decided to stick with what I know and what works for me.

One thing worth noting perhaps is that it's not the quietest machine I've ever owned. It does have a higher level of noise production than other printers, but it's nothing that is so annoying or that you couldn't get use to as I have already.

Overall, I give the HP Photosmart C4680 All-in-one Inkjet Printer 4 stars **** out of 5. It would have to cook me breakfast and do my laundry before I'd give it 5 stars.

HP Photosmart C4680 All-In-One Inkjet Printer

My first couple times printing I used a 20lb copy paper (75{g/m^2}) which on my third item printing jammed in the back of the printer. Since then nothing wrong, instillation was simple and did not take too long, and this printer has many features with relatively cheap ink. Probably best for a college student or just a home printer, not a business environment. Does great photos and can print envelopes.

A basically good machine.

I needed this printer to replace an identical one which had, after long use, broken down. The used printer that I bought had no software disc and was without one of its connecting cables, but for me that was no problem since I already had those with my previous printer. The "new" used printer is working well, as I hoped and mostly expected it would. This printer is a good daily use machine. I regularly use it to scan documents and photos, either for immediate printing or to save for future use, and I use it for a number of daily printing jobs. I have found it to be effective and durable. Scanning is good quality and the printing output is consistently good. It does not always accurately feed different weights and sizes of paper, for which I compensate by using this printer along with another. super printer, but not wirelss

This is a great all in one printer, but it is not wireless. Many descriptions on ebay indicate taht it is, however there is nothing in the set up install, that enables you to set up wireless. The printer is good, prints in very good color as well as black and white. I do like this, just have to keep it connected to my main PC, and keep my desktop on all the time. It does work well however, would not hesitate to recommend to anyone, as long as you don't require wireless. If someone can tell me how to make this wireless, please contact me. prints great but uses alot of ink in a short time ..

The printer is easy to use and has great print results but it seems to use alot of ink in a short time. The ink cartridges get expensive really fast. If the ink wasn't so expensive it would be an excellent printer, scanner, copier.Lire l'avis complet...

Not bad for the price

This was easy to set up, print photos. I looked into reviews for the HPC4680 thought i would give it a try. So far it works good but, i just got it and tried it out. Printed a photo on it and its not bad at all. Not sure of the ink lasting because i only printed the one photo so far, but the quality seems ok. It is a bit noisy while printing but what printer isnt that cost this little. Not nearly as bad as the Kodak all in one printer i just recently garbaged, that went bad only after owning 10 months. Hp photosmart C4680

Pros: prints/photos are clean and sharp. Scans well on the printer and via
computer. Much faster than the Officejet6310. Except for the small LCD
it is all in all a very good printer

Cons: LCD is very small and awkward to use and confusing as to what information
it contains. Very basic manual..would like the type of manual that
the 6310 offers. There are only two sizes of prints available on the
