I purchase about one of these toner cartridges a year for my HP Laserjet 4050, which was originally sold in 1998-1999. I purchased this HP printer used about 6 years ago after my HP Laserjet 5 died. HP toner provides much better print quality than re-manufactured toner at a similar price. I typically get about 11,000 pages of mostly tax returns per toner cartridge. HP toner cartridge for older printer at great price

I purchased it for when then toner cartridge I am using runs dry. All I can say is the one I purchased was totally sealed both the box and plastic HP internal packaging. I will only know it works when I need to install it. I acted on this good deal / to have a spare believing it might be difficult to get the cartridge as my printer has been around for many years.

great value, I bought two of them.

Just rec'd and installed this toner, so far so good. I am hoping all goes well for many, many months of use. Didnt mind it didnt come in the original box, but the cartridge had the normal pull tab so I can only assume its an original, as advertised.

I have a business, where print is important. and had not found a printer that was cheap to maintain. Doesn't print with clarity as with non oem cartridges.
Maybe ink powder is old .

This toner prints very well and even better with quality paper usage.

I was having horizontal line print problem on my paper when printing. Having had that happen before I knew the toner cartridge was about to warrant replacement. I had no hesitant

Brand new HP toner cartridge

I bought this product because I was having lines printing on my paper work because I had refilled a toner cartridge. I found this toner cartridge listed as brand new and the price was right. I received the product and all of the sealing tape was intact. I found no reason to believe this was a refurbished unit. The print quality is great. The dark color and shine of the toner on paper is everything I expected from a new toner cartridge.
