Outstanding Product!

I buy my EU1000i to be able to work on my sailboat while at anchor far from the dock, as well as to be able to make pleasant trips with my family since we are the camper type but still need a few commodities since we still have little kids.

This generator is what you could expect from a Honda product. Its reliable, works smooth and gosh can it be silent...

Overall it is a great product to own. As well I always has been from an old school of thought thinking that if you take good care of the product (AS YOU SHOULD) you will not have any trouble an any given point at all.

Again... my experience has been wonderful with smooth starting, silent working hours and very reliable power during all my exigencies to LOLO (My Honda EU1000i)

If you need a portable source of electricity purchase a Honda Generator!

I suffer from sleep apnea and use a Cpap machine. I love to go camping and on extended sailing trips. I have tried using auto and boat batteries with an inverter and they all work but only for a day or two without the ability to recharge them. I am dependent upon the Cpap and without it I sleep fitfully and actually do physical harm to my heart from the sleep apnea. In March I was given the opportunity to travel to Bahia San Ignacio, Baja CA Sur, Mexico to kiss and touch the Gray Whales. I was able to touch and stroke several mother and baby whales. Their skin feel like a soft rubber tire and when they blow their breath is like a warm salty summer shower. Our group camped out on a peninsula right next to the Bay of San Ignacio where the Gray whales raise their babies for several months in the spring. I wanted a good nights rest and with no electricity available at the Eco Tourism Camp I purchased this Honda Generator. It ran all night on a tank of gas and was very quiet. No one in our group of 9 complained at all about the noise from the generator. I will put it to use again in August when I sail to Santa Barbara Island on a four day sail. Just to keep the noise level down I will put the generator in a dingy floating behind the boat. Nothing to dislike about this Honda Generator. It powers my CPAP and was used to power a small air pump for our air mattresses. I suspect on the upcoming sailing trip that we will also use it to run a small ice chest to keep our perishables cold. No more uncomfortable nights sleeps without my CPAP now that I have this Generator. It is very light and portable and two gallons of gas will run it for three nights.Lire l'avis complet...

This thing is FANTASTIC!
For the one review I saw that said it didn't run on E10 gas....bull. I fill mine with the same ethenaol based gas I put in my truck, at 87 octane. NEVER a problem afer several years now.
We got this honda because we heard they were quiet. We need a generator because my wife and I work on the intyernet and need our laptops up and running 24/7. The last generator we bought was a Costco product and we were told by several campgrounds to shut it down or move out. Since we got this, we've even set it up right next to the "campground host's" trailer at one point and it is quieter then a sewing machine. Literraly, you can't tell it's running from 10 feet away. It is truly awesome. HIGHLY RECOCOMMENDED!!! But shop around as the price vries pretty extremely. Just make sure you get an EU unit. Great little generator.

We will use this as backup to charge dead motorhome battery banks on our Motorhome if we stay too long in the outback.

Great Product

This dipstick is of great quality and fit my generator perfectly. On my generator with low hours it picked up a tiny bit of metal on the magnet, so it's definitely worth adding. It also looks and feels much better than the stock part.Lire l'avis complet...

new and not used

it was a discounted engine but we found it to be new except that there had been oil in it at some time..it runs well. this is the third generator of this type that we use for power at a remote spot.r>

As good as it gets

Magnet is powerful, well machined, quite superior to grey OEM cap that came on the unit .
This will pick up any metal bits which is a huge advantage alone. The O ring fits snug. Great improvement and small price to pay to protect a unit costing $700-1000.Lire l'avis complet...

Honda Generators, as close to perfection as you can get

Despite a review to the contrary, this generator (EU1000i) and its larger brother (EU2000i) have NO problem running off of E10 Gasoline with a middle octane rating. It runs smoothly and has zero problems. Any suggestion to the contrary is just an indication that the gas used was either old or contaminated, or the generator was defective.

There are few things in my life that are close to perfect. Both of my Honda generators fall into that category. They always work. They always start on the first pull. They are quiet. They don't vibrate. And they sip gasoline.Lire l'avis complet...
