RX-8 single exhaust
I am pretty sure anyone looking at this knows exactly what you are getting in to. If not here is a load down.
Anytime you have a rotary engine with a single output exhaust is going to be super loud. If you are already running a midpipe cat delete (straight pipe) it will be race car level loud
Midpipe with resonator or hi-flow cat, is only a few decibel lower, around -2 ~ -5 depending on your setup.
Most likely you will not be able to run at tracks that has the 96db noise restriction. I know many people running this exhaust put on addition resonator or restrictor to quiet down the exhaust to pass the 96db restriction on track days. Even some SCCA Auto-X event, you might/will get complaints by the officials
If you are Forced Induction with Turbo, it will lower the exhaust noise. This exhaust was made for people going FI. Again, if you are looking at this exhaust, you already knew that.
This is HKS, so the quality is top notch. Installation requires very little adjustment. But you will need a longer rubber hanger for the mid-section of the exhaust.Lire l'avis complet...
