A light touch is all that is needed.
One would think that the parking brake for a six thousand pound tractor would require a strong pull.
Wrong. It does not work like the one on a car. It does not apply the brakes.
Step on the foot brake, then merely trap the foot brake with the little parking brake.
Do not pull hard. Just gently lift the handle and let off the foot brake.
To release, don't touch the parking brake. Just step on the foot brake.
Otherwise you break the dainty little cable, like I did.
