Very susceptible to corrosion.

Although I clean the bore after each use, I had to replace the heating element due to corrosion. The manufacturer should replace the inner tube with a better corrosion resistant material. Pump valve flapper material should also be improved. Lire l'avis complet...

Even though I did not need this; the price was right. The Hakko FR-300 is a fantastic performer, but I am a firm believer in keeping spare parts on hand especially when Desoldering and repairs go hand in hand.
