ps3's Guitar Hero Aerosmith

Guitar Hero Aerosmith is a great game much like Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock however, there is only about 40 songs and a few bonus tracks. If It would have had around 20-30 more songs on the main play list it would have been perfect 10/10 100% awesome. It is still a really great game that allows you to play a few random but good/well known songs at the beginning of each song set and then brings aerosmith onto the stage with a few of their songs. Guitar Hero Aerosmith does have 1 guitar battle at the end of the game and unlocks an additional song at the end as well. One of the things that I really like about this game is that the vault where you can purchase songs, guitars, finishes, videos, etc has tons on top of tons of guitars for sale. Most of them being under the "special" category. I give this game 5/6 star rating. It has amazing graphics, grade A songs, and just as much heart and soul as any of the previous guitar hero games.Lire l'avis complet...

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith

I say this in everything I write towards video games, "I have played video games FOR A LIVING!" So I know what is good and what isn't I was raised on atari and currently play xbox 360, wii, and PS3 today. I have no bias on the platforms because they all offer unique advantages, "To each his own". So, onward with the review!

I would consider myself an expert on guitar hero, I can play Scream Aim Fire, Satch Boogie, all the INSANE difficulties; however, even my wife (who can't play beginner on anything) found this game far too easy to play. If that is what you are looking for, by all means BUY IT. However, if you are looking more for a challenge, I recommend the Metallica installment. Overall I found this game to be quite short (with 31 songs in all), and little to no extras and little replay value (being so easy). Long story short, it's passable, it's buyable, your choice.

Divertido, mas cansa!

Decidi comprar porque nunca havia jogado nenhum Guitar Hero, e minha esposa amou o jogo quando o viu pela TV. O jogo é realmente divertido, as músicas são excelentes, as dublagens perfeitas e, claro, exige muita coordenação motora. Mas não gostei de algumas coisas:

Os gráficos estão muito abaixo do que espera de um jogo para PS3, pois a versão para PS2 tem gráficos semelhantes (vi no Youtube);

Na hora do desafio contra o Joe Perry, quando ele executa o especial, a tela treme e você não consegue enxergar as notas. Bola fora da Activision...

O jogo é enjoativo e não traz novidades para quem termina o jogo, o que faz com fique parado na sua casa até que tenha alguma festa e você o use como atrativo;

Enfim, pelo preço que paguei, valeu a pena, e muito, levando em consideração que eu pagaria cerca de 120 reais + frete aqui no Brasil, e no Ebay saiu por 50 reais com frete e tudo! Recomendo para todos os fãs de Guitar Hero e, se você não é fã, experimente!Lire l'avis complet...

A great game

This game is just awesome! It's included the "best" Aerosmith songs and other bands that Aerosmith like, there's no better songlist! Of couse i missed some songs, cause Aerosmith have a lot of music, but you can't put all that just in 1 game. Also, i missed Yardbirds songs, this band influencied Aerosmith so much, i think they deserved at least 1 song on the game (like New York Dolls, altough cover). Well, apart it, the game is really great, you don't need to be 1 addicted player that play it all day and night to be an expert (ok, it can be a bad point for you, but not for me). Finally, the graphics are amazing and the virtual band is really look-a-like the real Aerosmith. Ah! You can play on the web too, it runs perfectly, i would recommend this game to everyone who enjoys have fun time with good music, you'll not get disappointed.Lire l'avis complet...

coming at you , going strong Guitar Hero lives on

After purchasing the original Guitar Hero for my kids, I knew the only way to make it better was to add more music. Aerosmith rocks the house! No complaints here, only a house full of tunes and a bunch of kids that are really having FUN, with a capital Fantastic. Hand eye coordination definitely improves with this particular activity, and you have a rocking good time to boot. Every age group can enjoy this game, from the toddler (that dances along to the tunes while watching big sister strum the Gibson) to the old retiree (just happy to have enough eye sight and hearing to enjoy the grandkids playing the tunes). Teens through the college age youngsters have the most fun and have the greatest ability to play this fast paced and taxing game. Talent is a must, ambitions a plus, and sheer guts make each and everyone out there, a true Rockin'and Rolling superstar!
The game is well developed and the hardware is refined and robust enough for the hardest handler. Please, do not pass up this gem. Your kids will love you for it.Lire l'avis complet...

Great but... drum sensitivity issues

I would have put excellent is the drum was more responsive... after a bit of internet search, I found that redoctane has a kit to adjust this. If your encounter the same issue, contact them through their website (which has a very fast response! They've already sent the midi-USB cable to connect the drums to my PC).

Other than that, I've been playing long evenings with the guitar. The new slider mode is a bit tricky to play with at first, but great new addition to the hardwareLire l'avis complet...

Some history, a few great songs, many non top 40s.

Like the other GH game, has some challenging songs when you go up to Expert mode. However, this is not like playing the Aerosmith Greatest CD. There are several songs I could do without, and not all songs are Aerosmith songs.

I did like the interviews/history mixed in with the game. Over all, fun, playable GH game, but could have been better with more top 40 Aerosmith songs.Lire l'avis complet...

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (PS3)

Although not as challenging as Guitar Hero: Legends of Rock, GH: Aerosmith is still an excellent game and a great choice for those who have mastered Legends of Rock. The song selection isn't as varied as in Legends of Rock, but if you're a fan (like me) then that wont matter a bit. The game uses the same graphics and characters as Legends of Rock, so its nothing too foreign. Its basically, Legends of Rock with Steven Tyler singing most of the songs.
