Pathetic and useless.
This book is full of misinformation, or possibly out-dated information, and the opinions of the author rather than facts. In some ways, it is even offensive. The author gives advice based on his preferences - for example, he recommends that new bird buyers should purchase a juvenile bird - he never suggests looking into adoption. While adoption isn't right for everyone, it certainly helps the state of the abandoned bird population and should be considered, just the same as it would be considered for a dog, cat, etc. He also recommends only pet stores for the purchase - consumers should educate themselves on the possiblities of buying from breeders or adoption centers. I found the book to be a complete waste of time. There are much more accurate and un-biased references available. Don't bother with this one.Lire l'avis complet...
