I rated this product as Excellent because I am a huge Green Lantern fan and a fan of comic books in general. I bought this DVD for 2 reasons, the first being it's a great movie about my favorite superhero, the second is the price, I bought this DVD brand-new still in the wrapping for only $2.48. That is an amazing deal especially when I saw it in stores for $10.00 just days priory to me buying this item on eBay, buying the Green Lantern: First Flight DVD at that price is one of my greatest buys from the eBay website. FIRST FLIGHT OF AWESOMENESS

EVEN THOUGH "GREEN LANTERN - FIRST FLIGHT" HAS NOT TAKEN *FLIGHT INTO STORES UNTIL THE 28/07/09' THE BUZZ FOR THIS D.C ANIMATED FEATURE HAS JUST BEEN IMENSE, YOU'VE GOT ALL THE GREAT D.C UNIVERSE WRITERS AND PRODUCERS WORKING ON THIS TITLE INCLUDED: BRUCE W. TIMM ( BATMAN TAS / SUPERMAN TAS ) AND THE SAME TEAM THAT BROUGHT YOU THE LAST 3 D.C ANIMATED MOVIES FROM THE D.C UNIVERSE E.G: SUPERMAN / DOOMSDAY.

FROM WHAT IVE HEARD THIS WILL BE A FAST PACED ORIGIN STORY WITH ACTION GALORE NOT SO DIFFERENT TO THE WONDER WOMAN ANIMANTED FEATURE, THE STORY IS OF THE TEST PILOT "HAL JORDAN" AND HIS JOURNEY FROM A COCKY TEST PILOT TO A MEMBER OF THE GREEN LANTERN CORPS, D.C ARE KNOWN TO KEEP THEIR FEATURES IN SYNC WITH THEIR CHARACTERS ORIGIN BACKROUNDS WITH SOME MINOR CHANGES FOR EXAMPLE WITH THIS MOVIE THE COSTUMES VARY FROM THERE COUNTER-PARTS IN THE COMICS.

ALL IN ALL THIS SHOULD BE AN OVERLY ENJOYABLE MOVIE AND I CANT WAIT FOR THE RELEASE DATE TO GO OUT AND BUY IT, I SUGGEST YOU FOLLOW SUIT.

Warner Brothers - The new Gardians of the Lantern Corps

This Animated Movie was very entertaining and followed closer to the comic books than I expected. It gives a lot of detail and focuses on the Sinesto origin mostly. My only reasons for saying it was Good and not Excellent, was that the Gardians personalities where a little off and a couple parts of the handing over of the ring to Hal did not reflect the story in the books, which I own all of. Great superhero!

Green Lantern and the Flash are my favorite superheroes. The story is very good. The animation is great.

One of, if not the best DC animated movies and for a good price

This movie was really good. I've been a Green Lantern/Hal Jordan fan since the mid 90s so this movie was a real treat for me. The story strayed a little bit from the comic book but it was still pretty good. The only thing that i didn't like about this movie was how the Guardians were portrayed. They were too emotional, underpowered and kind of annoying execpt for Ganthet. Also, they could've did a better job designing Sinestro's face. But even my mom liked the movie. 0n a scale from 1 to 10 i'd give it a 9. This makes the 2011 live action movie look silly.Lire l'avis complet...

Actioned Packed Animation

Harold "Hal" Jordan, a test pilo was given the power ring and battery (lantern) by a dying alien named Abin Sur, whose spaceship crashed on Earth. Abin Sur used his ring to seek out an individual who was "utterly honest and born without fear" to take his place as Green Lantern.
