Works well.
Decent doorbell and camera. Quite straightforward to install-especially if you already have a wired doorbell in place. Do check the voltage to your current doorbell. It MUST be between 10V and 24V. One pro installer video I watched said 16V was the minimum. I had 13V to my doorbell and everything seems to be working fine.
My only complain is the very narrow space for wiring between the baseplate and the doorbell unit itself. It's quite shallow and I had to do a lot of maneuvering to get the wires to all fit.

Great right outta the box
This is my first Nest Hello doorbell. It's been installed for several days now and it's working flawlessly. Installation was a breeze and it worked as expected right out of the box - that's a BIG deal for me when it comes to any piece of technology. Instructions were easy to follow (and I made zero careless mistakes!). My wife and I both use the Google Home app to monitor packages and visitors and we're impressed with the sensitivity of notifications - unobtrusive but noticeable and the motion it captures is ideal.Lire l'avis complet...

Not worth it.
The Nest doorbell works well as a doorbell if you install a bigger transformer, but the Google salesman that installed it drilled a hole into my living room wall to add an attachment that was not needed on one and on the rear doorbell cut my wire and drilled into the door frame. In less than a week it burned up one doorbell and the ring box so I had no doorbell. I bought another and after $600 of electrician work, I have doorbells again, but now the bells won't hook up to the internet. It was sporadic during the time it was working. Get a product that is Nest or Orlo and have an electrician installed them correctly in the first place. It has been a poor experience for me and I was overcharged in the first place. Great product vs competing products
Nest video doorbells are far better than competing video doorbell systems. The field of view is wide and clear and all activity is captured. Many competing products have a very narrow almost tunnel like view and only record select events for a short period of time. I had one nationally known doorbell that would even tend to miss getting a video of a visitor pressing the bell because a car had triggered the video 30 seconds earlier. Nest is the best.

Enjoy your front door while away!
The Nest doorbell camera is one of the greatest outdoor add-on gadget to my house. I never thought I would enjoy my front while I'm away this much. Best of the 3 I've used.
This is the 3rd video doorbell I've tried, and the best of the three. It has a fast response time, and the angled mounting option gives a good view of my porch. I also think the continuous recording is a strong plus. The only negative that I have is that it, like the other two, is influenced somewhat by motion outside of the viewing zone such as passing cars.
