Having seen much of the Metropolitan Museum’s retrospective of the TV work of Glenn Gould in NUC back in the mid Eighties, I’d always wanted to see much of this stuff again, if not own it. When Sony released a good portion of this material on VHS, they’d chopped it up on terms of program, and a fair amount of commentary was excised… not so here, so it’s the full Glenn Gould experience that demands attention.
