One step above a coloring book

I was hoping for documentation and historical background, and was disappointed to find anecdotal information that will be dated in 3 years time. There is nothing in this book that will help a collector or researcher understand which tumblers came from a particular time period. This book only offers pictures of tumblers with a ballpark price from 2003. One could just as easily get this information on the web, and you sort of wonder if that is what the author did. A great text for collectors

I recently became a collector of antique glass tumblers and wanted a book that would give me information and illustrations that aren't too esoteric. This book is well organized, easy to read and chock full of colorful photographs and information. It is a terrific asset to anyone who is interested in learning more about these lovely works of art. Glass Tumblers by Tom Bredehoft

The pictures were great, clear and crisp with plenty of detail. The descriptions were just as wonderful, clear easy to read, and nice type size.

Newer book on older tumblers
