Good buy but not packaged as shown in picture

These appear to be genuine Gillette Trac II blades. I say "appear" because they came without any retail packaging whatsoever (unlike what is pictured in the product description). They came as a loose stack of blade carriers each holding 5 blades (see photo). This apparently is what they mean by "bulk packaging." The blade carriers say "Gillette" on them and they look brand new. I carefully compared the blades to some Trac II blades that came in retail packaging. They look exactly the same including the lubricating strips. They shave exactly the same. I guess if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it's a duck.Lire l'avis complet...

Old reliable

the only razor i've ever used

my mom has been using the trac ii razor for as long as i can remember, so when i first started shaving she got me one, too. and i've literally had the same razor ever since. (twenty years!) sadly the blades are getting harder and harder to find, and the ones found in stores are incredibly expensive (i've seen them as high as $30). the razor market is a total racket, but what can we do? anyway, that's where ebay comes in. i don't like to pay more than $10-12 including shipping. they are awesome blades though. one lasts several uses - legs, armpits, wherever (ahem). so a pack will last me a long time and i only have to purchase a few times per year. i have tried the generic ones and they are nowhere near as good, unfortunately. it is also for this reason that it's very important to only buy SEALED packages on ebay. don't accept open or taped razorblade packs for any reason unless you really trust the seller or like to gamble, as you might get fakes put into an empty 'real' pack. Gillette Trac 2 blades are a great value.

Gillette Trac 2 blades are excellent. I don't understand why Gillette has stopped manufacturing them and replaced them with 3, 4, 5 and more blades. Obviously, it is a ploy to charge a lot more and force individuals to buy new razors for the blades. Cannot "buy local" if no one carries what you need

a lot of stores do not carry this brand, they focus on all the "new" stuff. When you find something you like you just stick with it. They say to "buy local" but when you cannot find what you want/need you go where you need to.

Gillette twin blades are well worth the price!

Gillette twin razor blades have lasted me a long time. I been using them for 40 plus years.
On average, one razor blade will last me about 6 months, used twice a week!!
