Ezcapture..well its not hard

For what it is its ok works for most old analog stuff.
I've capped vhs movies snes games n64 and playstation.
Oddly does not work with sega you get vertical lines and missing colors.
It feels delicate and often has to be unplugged and re and the program restarted.
Also the software it comes with is for a slightly higher tier product but works ok.
Ive used the svideo and that works all in all for the short life it will have a decent investment.
Or in my case a good tool to learn on and upgrade to better gear.Lire l'avis complet...

The Easycap is good

The other reviewers are right, but also wrong. This thing works alright, but not with the useless software on the CD.

I had to ask a friend for some drivers for the Easycap so I could update it and make it work on my Windows 10 laptop. Then I had to find a decent video capture software program (cause the one on the CD is in Chinese and doesn't work). Once that was done, all I had to do was start up the capture program, change some settings, and connect the RCA cords to my Xbox 360. It works, but the image is not that pretty and there is considerable lag with every press of a button. I guess it's because laptops weren't made to work like TV screens. 3/5 stars for good price, but useless disc and the work it took to get the device to work on my laptop.Lire l'avis complet...

Does the job for 480p

I didn't need the audio features, but this rig is simple and effective for getting composite video into streaming software. This allowed me to use my old Nokia compact with actual optical zoom as a web cam. Not all cameras or camcorders have an output mode that is free of on-screen text clutter but if yours does it is way better to have optical zoom control at 480p (plenty good for most streaming) than to have fish-eye only on 1080p HD that few viewers will exploit. waste of money

this doesn't work! video recording is terrible. No technical support! When I emailed for a product key the company said I didn't need one. But I did. I found it on the disc. But the picture has no quality and won't record.

Item DOES WORK with Corel Videostudio's video capture

Getting this thing set-up is a tad tricky. Although there's a manual on the disc, not everything is clearly explained. The big issue to learn is that when you load your video capture, you will need to find the settings. By default it will be set on S-Video, and you will need to change it to Composite if you are running video via the Yellow cable. Thankfully, this can be set in Corel Videostudio (I'm using X7). So I was able to uninstall ArcSoft's ShowBiz.

Works but....

Good product for your money, but it's a nightmare to install. I found a YouTube video that luckily had the correct drivers I needed, but it took me a couple of hours to find and set up.

Not superior

I found this is not really that great a Dazzle would have been better ; however it was functional I would not necessarily buy another one, Its basically Chinese junk .

Works with Windows 10

As long as you are buying this easycap (168) the included software works with Windows 10 64bit. Windows 10 installs it's own driver and the CD contains Honestech TVR 2.5 which captures flawlessly in Windows 10. Had trouble getting other programs to capture audio, just video, but the TVR program included works great!!Lire l'avis complet...

the usb stick is good but you need to find software to buy or free EasyCAP to download to make it work, ClearClick Authentic USA no longer support this stick
