Gear of War Refresh 2 Disc Special Edition

First of all I think the people that review these games need to learn what the reviewing process is all about. You don't write in the review complaining about the seller or offering a free system if we fill out 97892343456 offers and complete them all and end up with 257 credit cards and whatnot.

This version of Gears of War comes with the original kick ass game GOW. The game itself is well worth the price new or used as it is one of the best games I have ever played, that count the single player campaign and the multiplayer. Fighting the Locust Horde is great, this game has several weapons but I think the original Lancer is the best as it has a built in chansaw....which is really cool to use.

The bonus disc has lots of extra content with a preview of GOW2, also has gamer pics and themes as well. All in all the REFRESH Version is a great way to get all the GOW goodies you want in one package. Also includes come free MP maps.Lire l'avis complet...

Gears of War Refresh (Xbox 360) Very Cool Game

Without a doubt one of my favorite games so far! The story has a few holes (not really explaining who you are fighting), but the game play is awesome, and it actually has pretty good replay value, what with all of the cog tags you can find in the game. One pretty cool feature, is the ability to turn off the extreme content to tone down the game's violence and language, just in case you were to play with the family over or something, but even with that it's still very strong in language and violence, hence the M rating, so I don't recommend playing it in front of kids lol. Great Shooter With Awesome Graphics

One of the things I like about this game is the take cover system. Many first person shooters are strictly run and gun where this one lets you hide behind sandbags and walls. Now I find myself playing other FPS's and wishing I could take cover. The game play is fabulous, graphics are stellar, and the online multiplayer is great. Gears of War Short Review

This game is a great third person shorter with a good story. You get to use some pretty cool guns. The campaign will absorb 15 hours, plus or minus depending on how good or bad you are, and the online will absorb countless more, although its kind of been outdated since the release of Gears of War II and soon release of Gears of War III.Lire l'avis complet...

Some games are classics

This is just one of those games that is a classic. Two players, and my daughter and I go back a couple/few times a year and play through this once again. Usually at my daughters request. We had been borrowing a friends copy, but decided to get our own when she wanted to play through one more time, and could not borrow a copy. Wow, this is an awesome game. There is no reason why anyone with an xbox would not add this to their game collection. If you feel your not very good a fps? just hide and cover and follow your team and you will still have a blast.
