Excellent product!

This was a very good buy. It fit right in our 10 yr. old Whirlpool side by side refrigerator. It took my husband less than 15 minutes to install the entire product. He didn't need instructions or pictures. I can't believe as quickly it started making ice and we were back to normal in under a day. I must add that my husband is one of those people that can fix anything so keep that in mind when you are installing it! There was no retro fitting or surprises to the installation. Good Quality Replacement Product

Good, solid product. Fit perfectly and has functioned well. No downside so far.

Pay very close attention on putting back together EXACTLY how it came apart or it will jam up and not work.

Great price, but cheaply made

It was a really great price, but the quality was quite poor. The original dispenser had a solid steel shaft. This one was aluminum and made pretty cheap. I had to file the shaft to get the original steel washers on. Seems to be working fine. I am a little concerned on how long it will last. Lire l'avis complet...

Great but a little different than the original

Only downside is that it was not specifically like the other as there was a larger gap of the shaft than the previous agur. It seemed to work fine, nonetheless. A youtube video helped me in the reassembly of the icemaker. Functional, working product

Have replaced this part five times over course of product life (about nine years).

If ice holder box ever has its ice melt and freeze, plastic augur wings can easily break if attempting to dispense ice. Ice also sometimes agglomerates together for unclear reasons unrelated to freezer door closure.

That's not really this product's fault, although its plastic has shown proneness to breakage. Too bad the ice tray has no sensor to check operation under these circumstances of predictable product failure.Lire l'avis complet...

Not and exact replacement

It is not the correct length. When replacing all components from the broken one onto the new one, the auger was too tight and did not turn at all. We had to remove one of the thin metal washers from the original assembly to make it turn at all. Despite being reassembled correctly, all blades in correct orientation, etc. it does NOT crush ice. Only whole cubes are dispensed despite the setting chosen on the control panel.Lire l'avis complet...
