Better than "Frosty Returns"......

This follow up to "Frosty the Snowman", is much more in line and likeable, than the poorly done "Frosty Returns" cartoon that was put out. The fact that it was done in 1976 and that it also has Andy Griffith & Shelly Winters as voices, helps out too. Overall a very enjoyable Christmas show.......Lire l'avis complet...

TWO CLASSICS ON ONE DISC!

To me, the Rankin/Bass holiday TV specials were always the best and the most fun to watch. Ever since their first Christmas special, RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER in 1964, afterward Rankin/Bas made some of the best and most memorable holiday shows through the late 70's from the AniMagic puppets to cartoons. And on this disc you a treat of two of what I think are some of their best holiday cartoons. FROSTY'S WINTER WONDERLAND is a great sequel to the classic, FROSTY THE SNOWMAN and TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS. I'm an adult and still love to watch these (yeah I'm a big kid). timeless classics to enjoy with your kids and grandkids at christmas time.

I bought this because they do not put these Christmas specials on the local channels any more. I have watched these since I was a kid and also with my kids. I still love to watch them at Christmas time. it was so disappointing when they stopped putting them on the local channels. I am so glad I could find these at a great price and that still works great. these are timeless classics that I will enjoy over and over again thanks for helping me complete my collection.Lire l'avis complet...

The true Frosty sequel.

This is the true sequel to the original Frosty the Snowman. It has the same actor voicing Frosty and the animation is the same. Skip the later Frosty returns with its lousy songs and terrible plot.
