Dangerous

This product should be banned from production, distribution and sales. It is a dangerous system due to the way it hangs from steering column in a loose swing type of sling. By doing so when turning sharp or abrupt and attempting to brake and slow down it will some times accelerate. I learned this the hard way, I got into an accident totaling our ramp van and breaking my thumb. Due to my situation I will be consulting an Attorney about possible law suite.
Do not buy if you are wanting to be safe. Buy the type you would get from a place that sells ramp vans and does the installation. Way more expensive to do so but in long run cheaper because they are safe.

EASE OF OPERATION

The product works good for the price. other products out there but you will have to pay a heavy price. I have a 5 speed transmission in my car and only my left leg is available , So I use thee freedom staff for gas and brake it took a little time to get used of it but I mastered it. Vehicle hand controls works but requires learning and coordination to operate.

The device works as described, was in near new condition. I installed it in a Honda Fit . The controls will take some getting used to but I believe it will enable my wife to continue driving despite declining use of legs. Great Devices

The only problem I have with it is. You have to pull to go and push to stop. this is a little confusing once in a while. I can cause unnerving lurches in acceleration if you are not paying attention.
