compact, easy to install

very fast delivery. it doesn't seem to work any better than my indoor amplifier. when aimed at a strong station, i only see one bar on the graph, even thought the station seems to come in strongly.>more investigation required.
sorry about the review, but its performance so far isn't what i expected.Lire l'avis complet...

Very good antenna

This is the 1st antenna that has ever actually picked up an over-the-air signal at my home in the 23 years I've lived here. We are more than 30 miles from any broadcast towers and live in dense woods. I really like that I can re-position it with the remote. Had no channels, now I've got more than 40!Lire l'avis complet...

Happy with purchase

Overall, I am happy with the purchase, and would recommend it, with the following caveats. The product is very lightweight. I'm not certain how well it would stand up in an unprotected outside location. I intend to mount either in my attic or in a (relatively) protected outside location. It is quite directional, so choosing the correct orientation is important. There are online resources that show maps of transmitters in your area and I recommend reviewing them. The rotor is less useful than it might be, for two reasons. The first is there is no feedback to indicate antenna position. Changing this would add complexity and expense, and even the high priced rotors can get out of sync (actual position vs. reported position). The second is that (at least with the HDTVs I have tried) the digital channels must be programmed during a scan, which can last several minutes, and which wipes the results of any prior scan. My approach has been to position the antenna manually, re-scan the channels and record the results. After some number of trials (depending on your patience), I pick the "best" (your criteria may differ from mine) orientation, and leave it there. Good luck!Lire l'avis complet...

Pretty good for the money

The remote is a great feature but distance is still no where near 150 miles at least with trees around. I'm lucky to get 50 miles. I would imagine if you were in a more open area with not a lot of trees it would be better. Just to be fair, you can't even get any type of satellite tv service in my area because of all the tall trees too so I wasn't expecting much.Lire l'avis complet...

150 mile antenna

Seller shipped fast and antenna arrived in good shape was easy to assemble and mount on pole. Helped reception but did not pick some towers in 30 to 40 mile range better than Rabbit ears and you can move to towers of choice. Rotary works some times and not others I can live with it.
I got what I paid for and mostly happy.
Thank you

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY !!! Chinese garbage

I received this item in the mail. Very easy to assemble but the connections on the box aren't made well at all. Broke away from the box when I tried tightening the coaxial cables to it. Needless to say the antenna will Not work without the box. As far as 150 miles as stated, I don't think it picked up from 10 miles away as I initially only picked up 5 stations before I tried to tighten the cables to get a better connection. At least I'm on out about 20 bucks. I suppose it could have definitely been worse. I re-hooked our old antenna that was NOT amplified and was able to get our normal 45 station.Lire l'avis complet...

Strange but happy

I purchased this antenna to replace one that had seen better days. Surprise was when box arrived. It was more than securely packed in a double box (box in a box). When opened I found all parts as advertised plus an instruction sheet. Yes, an actual sheet of paper showing how to proceed. Not a pdf or a note saying "go to website for instructions" Any how all went well and since we are entering winter weather in northern Indiana I did not want to get up on the roof with the snow, so have antenna mounted on a mop handle about three feet off of the floor in a spare room. I receive all 19 channels that are available in this area. Could not be more pleased.Lire l'avis complet...

TV Yagi is King

The cost and easy assembly makes this a real winner. I went from $150 digital antenna which had less than 14 TV channels and all we're running at 1 bar signal strength. The Yagi was very cheap and jumped my TV to 24 channels and all with signal strengths of 4 to 5 bars. I cannot find a better antenna, and with the low price, you just get the best bang for your dollar. One down side to all "Yagi" types however is they are narrow in beam and so, not every app will be the same results.Lire l'avis complet...

Good antenna for the money.

First the not so good. The rotor is good only that you don't have to go up on the roof to aim it but there is no feedback as to where it is pointing or what direction it is traveling or going to travel when you hit the button. That is why I knocked a star off.
The good. All the stations in my area are in a 100 degree window so I pointed at the weakest station and it picks up all the rest without having to move it. Furthest station and weakest station is 50 miles. Still got good reception when snowing hard and full of snow. I have it 25 feet off the ground. My area has rolling hills that gave other antennas I have tried problems.

NEARLY USELESS

First off, right out of the box, the remote only works for about 8 feet max (with no obstructions). Second this, as it turns out, is a directional antenna yet designed for outdoors. In my area tv channels come from 270 out of 360 degrees. Since the remote doesn't function from indoors to outdoors I can only receive less than half of my available channels unless I want to run outside then climb up on a ladder to move the antenna... yeah aint that fun?! According to the seller this is standard for this unit's remote connectivity. For me that translates to useless. This antenna does not install indoors, or at least not as I can figure. But if it did it's way too awful to look at in your family room. Consequently, I've been forced into getting a "REAL" fully functional antenna. If you feel these attributes will fulfill your circumstances go for it. But unless you live in a dog house I wouldn't waste my time.Lire l'avis complet...
