Fantastic reception! Rotate function needs a little design work.

Reception is fantastic! Installation was very easy. Instructions were very clear. Can't see angle of antenna from inside, don't know which way it will rotate when button is pushed. Rotation stopped when slowly stepped up to hard stop for auto-reverse. Had to unmount antenna to physically push away from hard stop.

Good reception, weak rotor motor.

Paid about $30. Assembly required, but pretty easy.
Mounted on 10' mast in flat area. Picks up stations 70 miles away OK. On good days get the random station over 100 miles away.
After only a few weeks, started having issues with the rotor. Rotor still moves, but stalls easily and gets stuck. Not good if you plan to mount it on a taller mast. Weak rotor motor (low torque)/dead spot in rotor motor??
Conclusion: Good on reception. Poor rotor motor. If you really need an antenna with a rotor, pay more and get something with a beefier rotor motor than this antenna. OK for $30.Lire l'avis complet...

HDTV 1080P

Works pretty good other than the rotater sucks. It has a mind of its own. I guy can't start and stop it where he wants. U can't back it up a little bit u havta go all the way to the stop to get it to go back the other direction. there is 2 buttons on the remote so u would think that one would turn it one the other would be the other way but that is NOT the case.Lire l'avis complet...

Watch, Watch, Watch

You will want to watch, watch, watch when you realize how many channels this little gem picks up. It is very easy to assemble and install in just a few minutes. One note of caution, coax connectors on the rear of the power box are very weak so use extreme caution when connecting your coax cables. The connector for the antenna input broke loose when I was connecting the coax. Luckily, I was able to go into the box and re-solder the connection and it works fine. I have tried other antennas but this one out performs all of them. My neighbors cannot believe I’m getting 36 channels with such a small antenna that was so inexpensive. Well Done

I tried an indoor antenna with no good success. So I bought a stronger indoor antenna and it was a little better but still not satisfactory. I went to Best Buy and the salesman tried to sell me an outdoor antenna for $200. I didn't bite. I saw this antenna on eBay on sale for $30 and figured I would give it a try. I am very glad I did. iI solved my problems and I now am pulling 20 stations, which is about all I can get where I live. Highly recommended.Lire l'avis complet...

Definitely works.

This antenna does what it it supposed to, it receives the local "free" stations. Honestly, I had no idea how many free stations there really were, even though I did check prior as was recommended. This antenna surpasses the window antenna that it replaced.

Just as a side note, this was fairly easy to put together and is very light weight. It does make me wonder how long it will last because it is so light.Lire l'avis complet...

Great little antenna

Works fine in my attic. I get all the channels I expected and they're clear except for when an occasional thunder storm rolls through the region. The remote controlled rotation motor is a bit clunky when I used it to setup the unit. Having an unobstructed line of sight between the antenna and remote control helps. Fortunately, I found the sweet spot and don't have to change the direction to get the channels I want. Cheaply built but good performance

This isn't particularly well built, but it performs very well and gives excellent value for the price. The package included the wrong screws making assembly a bit challenging though. Irritating but not catastrophic. I bought this to replace an almost identical unit that has served well for about 5 years. It's motor had begun to get stuck. Works well but weakening

I got it, set it up in 10 minutes inside my house and got 16 or so more channels than my Walmart antenna provided. Better yet, the channels were rock solid in reception. Now, after a couple weeks I wonder of the amplifier is starting to fail as some of the new channels are going out every once in awhile after being rock steady for the entire first week. I can always buy a new amp. I haven't tried the motor yet but it is IR so only line of site will work. Some people complain that they can't get it to turn without line of site. This is how IR works (unless it is a very sensitive IR system).

The polarized portion of the antenna is separated from the ground plane by plastic. Most of these designs use metal with insulator inside of a coax wire. I believe the antenna would break in windstorms like we get in Arizona. But since other than elevation there is little advantage to mounting this antenna outside, I mounted it inside the attic.

the most incredible antenna

This is really a great antenna, don't raise the price though, even though it works fantastic it is real delicate, may have to purchase another one after any bad storms, but will have an advantage over that since I attached stainless steel cables at three intricate points, awesome picture !!!Lire l'avis complet...
