Enjoy Good Old Southern Humor in a series of stories by John Grisham

This is a series of short stories by John Grisham. I enjoyed the stories on the CD so much that I purchased the book for my grandson who is a big John Grisham fan. A bonus to me is that the stories on the CD are read by the author who really enhances the characters and the situations. These stories have a lot of good old Southern humor that I can relate to. This collection of novelettes from John Grisham are a little like his longer novels of legal intrigue & political corruption. Except for the first one. It was worth the price of the book alone. Stick to full length novels

Many of the stories are dry and felt like they were written in 15 min. This is not typical John Grisham style. I love Grisham as an author and was extremely disappointed with Ford County.
