Amazing!

This is one of Children of Bodoms best albums in my opinion. The guitar work is great and there is a lot more atmosphere than in the earlier albums. It sort of has a chilling yet epic vibe to it. Alexis voice has a black metal feel to it and sounds like there was more reverb used for it. It fits perfect with the "feel" of the album. Jannes keyboards are heard alot more often in the songs. The drums are still fast. The bass is heavier especially on the song "Everytime I Die". Sounds like the low is cranked and the highs are low.

Overall this CD is full of memorable riffs, amazing melodies, ripping solos and excelent vocals. A great album to hear Bodom at their peak, musically. COB!Lire l'avis complet...

Gotta love CofB

They have many decent songs in this album, but two songs are quite different from the rest of Alexi's work. Everytime I die, and Kissing the Shadow of death are created with extreme bass sound that sounded like heavy metal but not black or death. They are two of the three best songs in the album in my opinion and I really did like it.

One problem from all this though, My favorite song from this album, 'hate me' has been edited and I recommend you buy the single album for this.Lire l'avis complet...
