Flitz stainless polishing

I purchased this product with automotive purposes. Tried polishing my recent muffler pipes, after cleaning it with soap and water, frying it, then applying product, it did not remove any stains of carbon, old dirt and rust. Maybe it will work for some other type of stainless steel product.
