Flaubert's Parrot

This book was a very clever work, hard to categorize. It was part biography,
part novel analysis, some history, gossip and interesting facts. I decided to
buy it because of the great reviews and also because I just read the latest
work by Julian Barnes and enjoyed it. He is a wonderful writer, very erudite
and often very funny. Flaubert's Parrot was entertaining and instructional.
