Easy to install and works great..
This was the easiest remote start I have ever installed. People say the instructions are vague but they are spot on. It's so easy that the instructions have to be simple. I installed this on a 09 Sierra and it only took about 10 min. tops. If you want an easy do it yourself remote start buy this one. Great product.Lire l'avis complet...

"A fast start"
It's a really great quality product in a very,VERY compact size ! Can be placed anywhere ! and has "convenient zip tie through holes" located "on the top" of the brain itself to make placing it and securing it a breeze !! It is in fact a "Plug & Play" install, literally just takes minutes ! other than just getting to the ignition plugins (located just under the steering column in my case for a "2009 Chevy express 1500") and then reinstalling the plastic back into place , the entire project may have taken a full 30 minutes total, due to how tedious replacement of the plastic around the steering column is on this particular model, worked like a charm ! what a great accessory to have all year round ! the system is designed to work with YOUR factory remotes, as mine already had a factory alarm with keyless entry ,ENJOY ! :) MWCLire l'avis complet...

Very easy install
Um, wow! I was very sceptical about this and even contacted the seller to make sure it didnt need programmed. So it arived and I read the directions and thought there is no way its this easy. Easy to install, works well.
I installed one of these remote starts in my 2012 Silverado because it's a work truck trim level that cannot have factory remote start added. I picked this kit because I wanted a clean factory look(aftermarket fobs seem cheap to me) that didn't require cutting or splicing any wiring. If this fails in the future, I can just unplug the t-harness and the truck will be none the worse. Installation was easy and programming was as well. One thing to mention is that while the factory gm remote starts won't work if the hood or doors are ajar, the vehicle is not locked or the check engine light is on, this one will. Literally the best starter ever
I did my friends 2011 impala it was a total of seven screws, most of them were 17 mm and one of them was a Torx 7.
It did not take more than 20 minutes to install this, and to be honest it took us a whole 10 minutes trying to figure out how to program it because the light would not turn green as the manual said it would. If you guys are having trouble programming your key all you have to do is follow the manual a few times until you don’t see any more lights on the small black box. The LED light should turn green after the key is programmed but mine didn’t, it just stayed red or turned off. No fear, as soon as we tried to start it using the key fob it worked right away. Truly is plug and play
The item was preprogrammed for my car prior to shipping. This means i didn't have to purchase the cable required to connect the unit to my computer and do it myself. The pre-programming is IMHO worth the extra money.
There is a video showing the installation of this item into a Chevy Tahoe which will show you the steps to connecting the unit to your vehicle as well as the placement of the connectors so you can reassemble the interior bits without any problems.
The unit operates using your existing remote door lock/unlock key fob.
Once the system is installed and activated you can easily change the systems operating parameters. The changes are made by entering into a menu in the system by way of a single button and confirmed by flashing lights on the unit itself. simple really. For my vehicle i change the default 15 min run time to 25 minutes which only took a couple of minutes to do.
Simple to install with easy to change operating parameters, this unit is a good choice over the much more expensive (for me anyway) activation of the RP8 remote starter prep pkg that was already on my vehicle.Lire l'avis complet...

Awesome "Plug & Play" remote start
Installed this plug and play FLRSGM10 in a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse. The seller preflashed the firmware for free, which could have cost me $40+ from other sources. The price included free shipping was the best available. I had one question on wiring which was answered immediately when I called the included telephone number. Detailed instructions were included with the unit. Total installation and programming total time was 45 minutes, required removing four screws from two bottom shroud pieces, then removing top half and two bottom quarters of shroud (see picture), disconnecting two pin connectors on ignition (A & B in picture) and inserting the supplied T harness. Module is then programmed to vehicle following simple instructions. Works great and has several options that can be reprogrammed including run time (default is 15 minutes). Note ignition switch picture shown separately for clarity of connectors. IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE REMOVED.This unit works great. remote range can be extended by adding compatible remotes. A true DIY solution that's pretty much plug and play. You can do it!
It's the same product sold by many car stereo shops. They charge $150 for the unit and then $40 for the harness and $120 for labor and then a shop fee for $16 plus tax on the whole thing. I installed car audio for many years and this unit can be installed by most beginners. In most cases it does not require any cutting or splicing. I had to tap into three wires which is really nothing. One was optional. The instructions clearly tell you which ones. Install took about 45 minutes maybe less.
If you're looking to just add remote start, use your current key FOB and do not want to spend $400, this is a great choice.

2011 Traverse
Yes the instructions are vague but was very easy to install once you found the two plugs. Here is the trick to the 2011 Traverse and similar, you need to get to the back of the ignition switch. If you feel under the steering column below the ignition switch there are three or four 7mm bolts remove them and the covers around the steering column come right off. Then look at the diagram aka instructions find the plugs put them into the t harness and the two from harness into the ignition switch. Follow the programming steps (very easy) i mounted the module with double stick tape behind the headlight switch.
